Dalam kegiatan ini Kodim 0610/Sumedang juga menggandeng pihak UPT Damkar kecamatan Paseh, Babinsa,Bhabinkamtibmas,aparat desa Bongkok dan warga masyarakat
Dalam sambutannya Komandan Kodim 0610/Sumedang Letkol Kav Christian Gordon Rambu M.Si(Han) yang diwakili Pasi ter Kodim 0610/Sumedang Kapten Inf Ade Army Barkah menyampaikan program pembinaan masyarakat tanggap bencana adalah suatu wujud kepedulian TNI kepada masyarakat diwilayahnya.
“Program ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan apabila terjadi bencana khusus nya kebakaran, melakukan antisipasi dini guna mencegah semaksimal mungkin kerugian yang akan ditimbulkan bila terjadi bencana kebakaran, Kegiatan edukasi penanganan kebencanaan ini sangatlah penting untuk terus disosialisasikan kepada stakeholder maupun unsur komponen terkait agar dapat tercipta perpaduan yang tepat sehingga cepat saat penanggulangan bencana kebakaran” ungkap Pasiter
Pasi Ter menambahkan, UPT Damkar sengaja dihadirkan dalam kegiatan ini untuk membantu secara tehnis dengan memberikan materi dan praktek terkait penanggulangan bencana kebakaran baik secara tradisional maupun secara modern.
“Dengan diselenggarakannya kegiatan ini kita mengharapkan sinergi dan kolaborasi dengan unsur maupun komponen masyarakat lainnya dapat terbangun dan bisa berjalan dengan baik,” imbuhnya.
“Satuan teritorial TNI juga melakukan pemetaan terkait kerawanan bencana alam, sehingga diharapkan apabila terjadi bencana alam dan bencana kebakaran, masyarakat tidak panik dan sudah tahu apa yang harus diperbuat,” pungkasnya.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan materi yang langsung dibawakan oleh UPT Damkar Bapak Toni dengan materi tentang penyebab terjadinya kebakaran, klasifikasi kebakaran dan teknik pemadaman baik secara tradisional maupun modern,dilanjutkan dengan praktek simulasi pemadaman api secara tradisional. (Bah)
